Steven Allen specializes in Performance
horses, reining, working cow, Western and
English disciplines.
Steven began riding horses as a young
boy,competing in high school rodeos. His love
for horses and riding many different disciplines
was the beginning of his wanting to become
a professional trainer. From breaking young
horses to training horses and their owners
the many different disciplines, training the
reiner and all-around horse, working the horse
with cows, reining, and showing the performance
horse.

He worked for Jason Richards a professional
reiner trainer. In his young career, he feels
honored to have been able to ride with some
of the best in the National Reining Horse
Association - such riders as Mike Boyle, NHRHA
President, Todd Bergen, David Hanson, Doug
Williamson, and Andrea Fappani.

Steven won 1st and 2nd at the Westcoast
Paint World. He has taken champion and Reserve
Champion at the Morgan National. He has shown
many horses to their R.O.M. and Superior Awards.
He is also the Vice President of the Sierra
Foothills Horseman’s Association.

Steven also breeds and raises Paints
and Quarter horses. He is a certified Artificial
Insemination Technician and is set up to collect
and ship semen. Steven is part owner of the
famous World Champion Dolls Union Jac, who
is standing at the Stage Stop Ranch where
he trains.

He has been actively training and
showing horses since 1990. He strives to provide
the best possible results with the best interest
of the horse and owner always as the top priority.

Steven has established himself as
a competent trainer and rider of the Reiner
and western horse. He strives to train the
ideal riding horse: calm, collected and responsive.
From starting green horses to refining a finished
horse, Steven has the ability to teach horses
how to work hard for the trainer and owner.
