Training

The ranch is a full service training facility offering training for reining and working cow horses whether for show or pleasure helping you reach your goals and dreams on a open horse or showing in the non-pro divisions.

Allen’s Performance Horses have horses of all types whether you rope, trail ride, drive or jump all breeds are accepted.

Beginner- "Green Rider" Understands basics and is confident on the ground. Can walk and trot in the round pen. Intermediate Rider- Confident and can transition all three gaits and sit through a minor spook. Advanced - A rider that can ride and bring along a green horse, and is confident with young inexperienced horses.

Lessons offered to Beginners through Advanced Riders Learn to Halter the Horse, Tie and Groom as well as Bridle and Saddle. Learn to Ride Western or English for Pleasure or Show.

 

Western Training All phases of reining and workingcowhorse training from entry level to the world championships. Open horses are accepted, 2 year olds started, and non-pro coaching and clinics are available. Cutting, Reining, Working Cow Horse, and Calf-Roping.

English/Hunter Pleasure Training All phases of training to prepare the English style riding horse for Hunter Pleasure or English Pleasure for the show ring.
